Bought this mostly for the base honestly. That deep ceramic curve looked good in the photos and it looks even better sitting on the nightstand in person. Didn't expect the light itself to be the part I'd actually care about, but here we are.

Fabric shade, pleated all around, softens everything so the light never hits you directly even in a dark room at night. Base is ceramic, has some real weight to it, won't tip over if the cord gets tugged or the table shakes a little. Two versions exist and they work differently. Version A has a push button switch and gives you three light tones to flip between depending on what the room needs. Version B skips that and goes with an inline dimmer instead, just warm light, dial it up or down. Both take a standard E27 bulb and the thing is rated to run for 100000 hours, so replacing it isn't something you'll be dealing with for a long, long time.

Wiping it down is simple, just a dry soft cloth, skip the detergent entirely or you'll dull the finish.
