No switch. No string to pull. You get close, it lights up, you leave, it turns off. That's it. Stick it under a cabinet, along a hallway wall, inside a closet, anywhere you walk through and need a second of light instead of leaving something on all day.

Battery charges up and you're done, no hunting for the right size batteries at midnight when it finally dies. Body's aluminum alloy so it holds up fine, doesn't feel like it'll crack if you bump it. Comes in black or silver, and each one shifts between three light tones if you want warmer or cooler depending on the room. Sizes run 20cm to 80cm so a tiny shelf and a full hallway are both covered.

Voltage stays under 36V. Won't spike your bill, won't worry you about safety either. Put it up once, sensor does the work from there.

Small purchase, but it fixes a habit I didn't realize bugged me every day, fumbling around in the dark for a switch that's never where you remember it.
