Product Description
Almost skipped this one. Online photos never show texture right and I've gotten burned before, ordered something that looked plush in the pictures and showed up feeling like cardboard. Not this. It's real chenille, soft, a little fuzzy, and the tufted pattern actually sits raised off the fabric. You can feel it without even looking.
Handmade too, so no two covers come out identical. Mine's got a slightly crooked edge on one corner of the diamond pattern. Didn't bother me. Kind of liked it actually, made it feel less like it rolled off some factory line somewhere.
Four colors. Blue, Ivory, Pink, Yellow. Grabbed blue because my room's mostly neutral tones and needed a little color without going full rainbow on me. Front's got the tufted Moroccan pattern, back's just plain solid chenille in the same shade, so flip it whenever you want a different look that day.
Lighter than I expected when it showed up. Somewhere around 250 to 290 grams, varies a bit by color apparently. Easy enough to swap in and out without it being a whole production.
Got a Moroccan trellis pillow sitting next to it on my couch now actually. Different textures but they play well together, doesn't look like a matching three pack you grabbed off a shelf.
Couple things before you buy this:
Cover only, no insert in the box. Need your own or grab one separate.
Tufting means the pattern's actually pulled up through the base fabric by hand, not printed flat and pretending to have depth. That's the whole point honestly, why it costs a bit more than the printed versions everywhere else.
Handmade also means small size differences, maybe an inch off here or there between pieces. Not broken, just what happens when actual people make something instead of a machine stamping it out the same every time.
Dry clean only, which yeah, slightly more annoying than tossing it in the wash. But machine washing wrecks the tufting eventually, so worth the extra step if you want it to last.
Questions I'd probably ask too
Insert included? Nope, cover only. Standard insert works fine, just buy separately.
What's tufting exactly? Yarn pulled through the base fabric by hand to build up that raised pattern. Gives it actual dimension, something a flat print can't really pull off.
Color options? Blue, Ivory, Pink, Yellow. Same tufted front on all of them, matching solid back.
Can you flip it inside out basically? Yeah that's built in. Tufted side, plain side, two looks from one cover depending on your mood.
Washing instructions? Skip the washer. Dry clean it, keeps the chenille and tufting intact way longer.
Does it match my room? Boho, Moroccan, Nordic, eclectic, even regular contemporary with some warmth to it, probably yes. Works in a living room, bedroom, reading corner, wherever needs texture.
Last thing, slight pattern inconsistencies are normal here, not defects. Comes with the territory when something's actually handmade instead of churned out identical every time.
